Calallen Wildcats Challenged and win 13-10 over the Austin McCallum Knights. Wildcats stopped their dynamic duo of Lucious Henderson and WR Andre Banks, who just a week earlier had defeated Lake Travis, the #7 ranked football team in Texas, by a comeback victory in the final 20 seconds of their game, Well, the Mighty Fightin' Wildcats' defense insured it did not happen again by playing tough in the final 3 minutes. Like I always say; when the rough gets tough, it is the tough that gets rough. Fans, lets go to Victoria, on Saturday, 2 pm, and cheer the pride and joy of South Texas to Victory.

Victoria Memorial Stadium, November 25, 2005.

Football
THE HIT. #53 Andrew Quillin running East at full-trottle tackles QB Lucious Henderson at the same point in time that #42 Jeff Blankenship, who was running West at twice the speed of Andrew. The jarring-explosion tackle was heard all the way to inside the Press Box. The Calallen Crowd went oooooooo, and when the dust settled, Andrew was on the turf, Lucious in the middle and Jeff on the top and Lucious appeared to have blacked-out momentarily, he released the ball, and Jeff recovered. With 1:50 left in the game, the Wildcats ran out the clock. DEFENSIVE PLAY OF THE GAME.

Football
Introducing #42 Jeff Blankenship, Linebacker, Season 144 Tackles, needs 26 tackles to tie State Linebacker, Calallen Alumnus Michael Martinez. How about that tackle in the last minutes of the game. ooooooo! (gives me chills, goose-bumps and tremble at the thought of that hit.)

Football
QB Ryan Duke, one Touchdown, and RB Kindred McClure, one Touchdown. The only Calallen Touchdowns today. Congratulations!

Football
#53 Andrew Quillin would be a rock wall this afternoon. #7 Jerald Cooper their running back is stopped for no gain. Jerald would only get 17 yards in the game.
Football
#10 Lucious Henderson is tackled by Jeff Blankenship. This fine qb would duel qb Ryan Duke for passing yardage and the game today.
Football
Here is Ryan Duke running for daylight. But the Knights defense was tough. Ryan Duke later scored a 1 yard td, as did qb Henderson 1 yard, and Kindred McClure got his td after running 1 yard. Three tds, three yards -- Both defense were outstanding.
Football
#40 Sam Oelschlegel on his first reception of two. He was 12 yards on two carries. Check out #1 Jared Alexander tries to strip the ball. No way!
Football
#55 Nick Hernandez is ready to center the ball to Ryan Duke, while #33 Dallas Barrow lurks and ready for action.

Football
And the ball is on the one. Ryan sees a small hole for his slim size and scores. Nick Hernandez blocked #71 Julio Wolf, 285 pounds. Fine Job, Nick. Fine score, Ryan.
Football
This would be Ryan Duke only score-- Knights were a good defensive team, they had to be -- to defeat state-ranked Lake Travis.
Football
The dynamic duo, #5 Jeramie "sure hands" Marek, and #8 Ben "Toe" Fair, kick and it is good. Wildcats on the board, and leading 7-0.

Football
Looks like a fumble! Nope saids the ump. #35 Sean than sets a record in bouncing the football on the turf for about 15 feet high. The ump didn't like it, so the 'Cats paid the price One yard for each foot, that comes to 15 yards. That put the Knights closer to the Wildcats End Zone.
Football
Slap! Slap! Wrap, wrap went the tape. Tuned to Clank, Clank went the Trolley. John "Doc" Dickerson does a fine professional taping of Sam's ankle.

Football
#41 Bryan Farris just about to receive the football and looks down field, and..,.
Football
#1 Jared Alexander and Paul Tearson bring him down in the Red Zone.
Football
The Knights hold, and Calallen goes for the field goal. Over compensation due to the strong wind, and the football goes wide. No good. Good looking pickskin spinning like a top.
Football
Andrew Quillin made this tackle. The way Andrew and Jeff were hitting, they would soon meet and sandwich-tackle the qb.
Football
Halftime. Fine Marching. Columns 1-3-5 going south, and columns 2-4 counter and going north -- look closely.
