Meet the Calallen High School Lady Wildcats, 3rd Place Champions in the Ray Texans -Texas Riviera Roundup. Congratulations -- Fine Showing.

The Lady Wildcats were hot in the first half as they ran to a 20-9 lead. Then they laid back and fought the Hornet's comeback. But good Shannon Brooks, Brenna Smith and Lindsay Steichen came through with critical steals in the 4th quarter, and that put the Claw to the Stinger.

Lady Wildcats warm up.	Setting the focus parameters on the basketball, it will insure for better over all focus.
Huge Ref, but it is Amanda Haven on the tip-off.	#45 Lindsay Steichen fires for two, but her 4th qtr steal would be a critical point in the game. She also scored in the same series on the backdoor lay-up cool.
#23 Shannon Brooks plays a mean defense, here she is guarding against #21 Leena Pena. Shannon was also instrumental in a critical steal and a perfect lay up in the 4th qtr that threw a wrench to the comeback attempt by the buzzing Hornets.	#13 Brenna Smith on the breakaway, drives, shoots and scores. Brenna finished with Nine big points. Cool.
#15 Amanda Haven fires from around the free throw line for two points --Swoosh! Later in the 4th qtr Amanda would drill a 3-pointer from top of the Key. She was top gunner with 11 points, and top scorer in the game.

#23 Shannon Brooks, steals, runs the length of the court, she goes up, left-hands the lay-up, Swoosh. A critical swoosh in the 4th qtr when the pesky Hornets were trying to catch the fightin' Lady Wildcats.	Poised on the free-throw line, Brenna went on to score -- Swoosh!
