The Calallen Wildcats were down 5-2 going into the 7th inning. The Greyhounds were convinced with Brad Suttle on the mound, undefeated at (10-0), and hadn't lost a game in 26 straights decisions that there was going to be a 3rd game to decide who is going to Round Rock. However, it was the 2nd day in a row, the Wildcats beat another undefeated pitcher. Wildcats win in a Wild 7th Inning 6-5.. Calallen has swept everyone in the playoffs. One more pair of teams left. And that will be at Round Rock's Dell Diamond on Wednesday and Thursday. Go get 'er done, Wildcats, bring back the Gold, bring back the State Trophy.

On the mound today will be #1 Chip Nance with a record of 9-2. He has won 7th straight game.	The CHS Cheerleaders are here, and ready to motivate players, and encourage the crowd to cheer for victory.
Among the fans, Jordan Chambless, twins Eddie and Gary Wells, Weldon Dietze and his Dad, Jeff Dietze and a few friend. They are ready for the game.	The Dynamic duo in action. One could tell it was going to be an awesome game, through the first three innings, the score was 0--0.
#1 Chip Nance gave up 5 runs, and struck out three Greyhounds. Greyhound Chris Davila put his team ahead when he belted a base-clearing double, Greyhounds in the lead 3-0.	Here are the base loaded Greyhounds, and Davila came and empy the bases with his double.
Brad Suttle retired the first nine Calallen batters. Than #4 Jonathan Vest came up, and just like he has played all the baseball season long, he got on with the first base hit. #30 Jacob Kaup drills a base hit.	#4 Jon Vest scores and is congratulated by #15 Sean Hoelscher.
Caleb Huff watches as #10 Brad Suttle drills a solo home run. 4-1 Greyhounds. The Greyhounds get back that run that Vest scored.	In the 5th Inning, Randy Houghton gets a base hit. The Wildcats keep fighting.
#2 Wes Callihan drills a grounder, and is thrown out at First, but Randy moves on to 2nd base.	Sean Hoelscher strike one..
#15 Sean Hoelscher finds a hole in the infield, and he is on with a base hit...,	and Randy Houghton comes in to score. 4-2 Defending state champions.
#21 Daniel Alonzo gets the ball, and the double play is broken up.	#15 Sean Hoelscher catches the flyball and brings it in for the third out.
Bottom of the 6th Inning, #22 Catcher, senior Luke McCall drills a Single the only action of the inning. Didn't look gooe for the Wildcats trailing 4-2. The 3rd game loomed in the near future.	#17 Ryan Duke, short stop on the double play. The dawgs went on to score again 5-2 on the top of the 7th. The Greyhounds were looking toward the third game, and lost focused with the game at hand.
The final inning. #17 Ryan Duke gets hit by Brad Suttle's pitch. The Calallen Fans didn't appreciated the idea of the sophomore getting hit.	#13 Randy Houghton and Brad Suttle were locked in a pitching-batting contest, after the 8th pitch, Randy drilled the baseball over the fence with Ryan Duke on, and the Wildcats closed the gap to 5-4 Greyhounds.
Here is Randy rounding third on his first homerun of the season, and Brad Suttle, bound for Texas University, gave up his first home run of the season. A first for both seniors.	Kellyn and Melissa check Randy Houghton welcomed home by the greeting committee of fightin' Wildcats. 5-4 Boerne in the 7th inning.
The ex-Calallen Bat-boy who grew up to play Varsity gets on base on a base-hit.	Boerne Pitcher Brad Suttle hits another batter, it is #15 Sean Hoelscher, Two Wildcats on. The tension mounts. The Wildcats are motivated, and the Greyhounds are frustrated and panicky.
#8 Brandon Key strikes out. The Greyhounds breathe easier.	#4 Vest drills the ball to the fence. Hoelscher and Wes are both on third base. Bad base running and Wes runs for home, and is caught in the ensuing rundown, Hoelscher is on 3rd, and Vest is on 2nd base. It sure looked bad for the Wildcats trailing 5-4 and two outs.
But have no fear, #21 Daniel Alonzo is here. Strike!	Daniel on a "good eye" takes a ball.
Slam! Right to Short stop Ray Martinez, Ray cannot charge the ball, because Jon Vest is going from 2nd to 3rd, the hesitation, and the blur of a Wildcat running by, and with Daniel almost at First, Ray Martinez hurries his throw and over shoots First Base, -- Sean and Vest scores! The game is history, Wildcats win 6-5 and heading for State, Round Rock, Texas. The winner of Region won State last year, perhaps, just perhaps the Wildcats can duplicate the fine effort.	The Wildcats win. Check #1 Chip Nance, he is very, very happy for his fightin' Wildcats.
The Wildcats celebrate. They are State Bound.	The 2005 Calallen Fans are very happy for the Wildcats. They too are going to State.
At 1:41 pm.The Calallen Wildcats were the Region Champions; 6-5 come from behind victory. Check the 7th Inning, 4 big runs for the fighting Wildcats. Cool.	Two "never say die" Wildcats. Randy and Jon two important hitters in that wild 7th inning. Awesome.
Catcher Luke McCall, Jonathan Vest and flying high Wes Callihan.	Coach Steve "State 2000 Champ" Chapman is returing to Round Rock and the Final Four, his 9th trip. He gives the post game de-briefing. Congratulation! Coaches and Fightin' Wildcats.
The Winning Pitcher Chip Nance, 5 runs, and 3 strike outs and never gave up.	Randy Houghton who clobber the home run in the 7th inning is interviewed -- cool!
Bridget was present cheering for Rudy and the Fightin' Wildcats.	Daniel Alonzo is interviewed, he clobbered that ball right at Ray Martinez who made the major error, and send the Wildcats to Round Rock. Next to Daniel, his mom, and little sister.
A little fun during the interview, I guess Luke told the Camera man, Calallen is going to win. How true!	The interview with Jonathan Vest. Jon has been the catalyst all year long. He ranks high among the Calallen's batters, home runs, doubles, RBIs and few other categories.

Young Man Jarrett Becker and his Dad, Bruce Becker, both do good work for Calallen High School Sports.	The Calllihan Family, and Wes has already left for the bus.
