The Calallen Wildcats fight a good Victoria Vipers baseball team, and come from behind to win 8-6. Fine game, fine defense against a good Class 5A baseball team.

#30 Kristian Bueno belts the pitch to the new State Champ's Sign, going - going - Gone! A two-run home run that puts the Wildcats ahead 6-4.

The Victoria Vipers warm up.	Playing in the outfield tonight: #10 Steven Vidaurri, #15 Sean Hoelscher and #5 Jeramie Marek.
And in the infield, 3rd Base, Ryan Miller, short-stop Ryan Duke, 2nd Base, #2 Wesley Callihan, and 1st Base, #12 Bucky Bryant.
On the mound, starting is #9 senior Shane Athans, and behind the plate, not shown is Catcher senior Paul Flores #16.	Coaches, and the rest of the fightin' Wildcats.
#9 has one victory already; he is 1-0.	The Vipers take a 2-0 lead at the end of their half of the first inning.
#12 Bucky Bryant on first and waits for the pick-off attempt.	Easy out, pitcher to first base.
The Viper batter drills the ball deep in the infield; #17 Ryan Duke runs over and prevents the ball from going to center field, however, the Viper runner has reached first base. No throw.	The Viper strikes out, and returns to its hole. #16 Paul Flores signal two outs.
#7 Ryan Miller strikes out.	#17 Ryan Duke gets a Walk.
Steven Vidaurri, #10 drills a long double to the fence, and...,	#17 Ryan Duke scores the first run for the Wildcats. 2-1 Victoria.
Here is Steven on a Stand-up double. He drilled 2 homers in the McAllen Tournament.	The Vipers are threatening again. Bucky holds him close to the bag.
Viper jersey #17 bites the dust. He is outta of there, strike 3.	The Lady Wildcats are here supporting the Boys Wildcats. Next day, against Robstown Lady Pickers, (2nd from left,) Pitcher Angela Hook struckout 18 batters in a 5-0 Victory over the Pickers.
#30 Kristian Bueno comes in for Shane, and fires a strike right down the middle.	In the 2nd Inning, #12 Bucky Bryant was the only action with this single.
Jeramie Marek watches as the ball gets a way from the catcher.	And the great Marek strikes out to end the second inning.
Strike Three for Viper #3. Kristian is holding his own on the mound.	#4 Viper is history. Paul Flores signals two outs.
#7 is also a strike-out.	Start of the 3rd Inning, #7 Ryan Miller drills a single. Victoria now leads 4-1.

Viper #2 watches as the ball goes and clears the fence for a home-run. Wildcat 6-4.	Kristian steps on 3rd base and on the way home, but first,
A handshake for a job well-done. Super hit.	Justin Carbajal and his friend loved that homer, which put the Wildcats in the lead 6-4 in the 3rd inning.
That home run brought chatter and smiles from the Calallen High School Teens.	Callihan and Pena have a teen discussion.

Fine play, from Callihan to Duke for one out at 2nd, and the throw to First -- Not in time. Early in the season, this play will improve for a double-play.

#16 Paul Flores had a single right before Kristian drilled that ball over the fence.	The tough guys of football, and took Calallen to the State Final: Trey Slusher, Kicker, and defense; Sam Oelschlegel fullback and wide receiver, and Defense lineman Andrew Quillin. Fine season, gentlemen.
Meet the Calallen new bat-boy, Eron Voorhees.	Volleyball teammates: Kristen and Blaine.

And Sean Hoelscher is the 3rd pitcher tonight. Sean would be the winning pitcher, and his won-lost record goes to 2-0. And Calallen is 6-0 in this baseball season.

Robert and Sarah are enjoying the baseball game.	Senior Paul Flores catches the 3rd strike. The Vipers did not score in the fourth inning.
But then, the Wildcats did not score in the 4th inning, either. 6-4 Wildcats.	Did you check our new sign out by the gate. Now that's a cool sign.
#2 Wes Callihan moves #15 Sean Hoelscher, who had walked, to 3rd base	Strike one whizzes by Paul Flores.
Paul Flores fouls -- strike two.	3rd time is a charm -- base hit, and here comes...,
Sean Hoelscher, wearing his jacket to keep his pitching arm warm...,	and Sean scores, breaking the 6-6 tie with the Victoria Vipers, who had score on top of the 5th inning to tie the game at 6 all.
Kristian already has a homerun, and now he adds a basehit to the score sheet.	Here is #00 Eron, the new bat boy, bat boys work is never done. Batter after batter leaves the bats at home plate for him to pick up.
Another Strike out for Sean Hoelscher.	Great stop by Paul Flores. He keeps that baseball out in front, especially with Vipers in scoring positions.
Strike three, and Paul Flores throws it to 3rd to throw around the infield.	Some batters strike out on high pitches.
And then some batters strike out on low pitches.	Marek takes ball four.
#5 Jeramie gets the Walk, and is on First Base.	Somewhere, Jeramie receives a signal to try and steal second.
Jeramie gets a lead, and is ready to run for second, he does and he is thrown out. It was close.	#17 Ryan Duke lunges for an outside ball and gets a base hit.
Sean drew a walk, and so does #10 Steven Vidaurri. Bases are loaded.
Kellyn Chambless is busy writing all the action on the bases. #2 Wes Callihan gets hit by the pitched ball, and that...,	brings in the Calallen Kid, #17 Ryan Duke who was on third. 8-6 score, Wildcats.
Sixth inning, Cats 8-6, if the Wildcats can get 3 outs the game is over. Strike Three! One out	Strike Three! Two Outs.
The Viper hits a grounder, the throw to Bucky, he stretches, in time! third out. Game over. Wildcats win 8-6.	The three ladies, they are an asset to the Wildcats, Statistician, Trainer, and data entry tech.
