Meet the 2007 Calallen High School Lady Wildcats Softball Team.

Duel at the Bluff: Calallen Lady Wildcats behind some fine pitching by Angela Hook, and a few good Wildcats put the hurts to Flour Bluff standout senior pitcher Emily Humpal and the Hornets by a score of 3-0. Calallen sophomore shortstop Valerie Perez drilled a home run over the left field fence. Perez's homer scored Marlena Garcia (who was hit by a pitch) and courtesy runner Shanna Mestoyer. and the Wildcats led 3-0. Good thing. Hook and Humpel can battle 15 or so inning with no problem.
