February 28, 2006. Meet the 2006 Lady Wildcats who dominated Robstown Lady Pickers tonight 5-0.

Calallen Lady Wildcats in a duel with the Tuloso-Midway Cherokees. The game went 15 innings before the Fightin' Lady Wildcats won a shut out victory 1-0. Outstanding pitching by Calallen's Angela Hook and the Cherokees Lisa Bockholt.

In the 15th inning, an Alert Coach Kilgore watch the Cherokees throwing the ball to 2nd, and she told #3 Cassandra Leal to go on home. Cassie scored the one and only run in the game. What a finish. What a game. Wildcats tag the undefeated conference leaders TM (4-1)with a loss.

The Duel: Wildcat Sophomore, Angela Hook versus Cherokee Senior Lisa Bockholt. Angela Hook came up on top and just about struck out the entire tribe of squaws. I lost count after 18 strike outs. And the Cherokees are a good hitting club, but not tonight.

Sophomore Angela Hook was outstanding in her pitching performance for 15 straight innings.
