The Carry-All Exhibit. Having all the Supplies accounted for, is a must for the successful Trainer. |
This Table had some "Special Health" Magazine. Great back up and keeping abreast of Special Health, A must for the Sudent Trainers. |
More Magazine Health Information. There is a saying among L.A.T. Personnel, "You don't have to know it all, but know where to find it, when you need it." |
These 3 Student-Trainers are going to make it, they were very enthused about lectures and exhibits. |
The exhibits were a good source of information and knowledge, and the persons behind the desk were helpful and knowledgeable. |
The Breakfast and Lunch Staff; Coffee, Donuts, Cold Drinks. It was good and delicious, especially the upcoming Pizza Lunch. |
The Lunch consisted of Pepperoni, Cheese, Hamberger and Combo Type Pizza, all you could eat, and Coke Cola to drink. Great Job by the Serving Staff. |

Mathis High, "Doc" finds a Volunteer for his demonstration on taping the "Lower Extremities". |
First Pre-wrap the extremity with Non-adhesive Wrap. If an Ankle is just tape, when the tape comes off, so do the hairs! Ouch!! |
Then Tape the Pre-wrap at the start and end, as shown. |
The Finish Product, Not too Loose, and not too tight, it has to be just right! |
And now the Stations and each team goes into Taping Action. |
A certified instructor checks this student on his pre-wrap application. |
This Trainee starts the taping process--Slap, Slap goes the tape on the Ankle. |
Round and round, the tape goes, and carefully around the heel and back up and around. |
Looks good, applying the finishing touches! |
Fine job, the instructor with the scissor cuts and removes the tape and pre-wrap. |
Instructing on the "Taping -- Upper Extremity" will be: Randy Christainsen, L.A.T, Orange Grove High School, Orange Grove, Texas. |
This taping of the Wrist-thumb also requires, first, the Pre-wrap! |
With the Hand in the "Handshaking Position", apply the strips of Tape on the thumb and cross over on the back, The thumb will be secure and firm when done. |
The Teams practice and apply the Upper Thumb Taping. |
"Doc" Wood present Mr. Christainsen with his "Well-done" Taping Training! |
The Trainer-Students gather at the Auditorium to practice what they have learned. The Front Group of Students sit in the same place as Last year! |
And the slapping of tape hitting the Ankle begans, the Prelims! |
Calallen's Crystal Cunningham really moving on -- Slap Slap!! |
The Trainers wrap and the instructors are timing and evaluating the tape for correct application. |
The Student-Trainers have learned their lesson Well. They are all doing great. |

The Groups were cheering for their School Trainers. |
