Meet the 2002 30-4A District Champions: Nice Formation. The Gregory-Portland Wildcats, Coached by: George Harris.	The Captains tonight: # 14 Captain Wade Schooley, # 21 Captain Ruben Cortez, #35 Captain Chance Campbell #47 Captain David Garza.
The National Anthem at the Alamodome. GP #7 is Gabriel Peralez. We sat by his family.	Wildcats on Defense, Tivy at the Helm is #12 Josh Rippy, just one outstanding quarterback.
The person in the orange signal s-Touchdown! #25 Jeremy Winfrey, Senior, just galloped 45 yds. The Wildcats found the key early, get past the line of scrimmage, and all that Antler beef is not going to catch the runner.	The touchdown that wasn't. I believe this is Connell Davis, Sophomore, about 70-yard run with 5 bucks after him. Illegal procedure called. The reason for bad focus, The Fans would jump up and down with glee, and touch me as I was shooting. I will still post them. Better Fuzzy than none at all.
#35 Chance Campbell senior, brings the Great Rippy for a Huge Loss. Only one Wildcat in a sea of blue. Cool! Mr. CC.	The Goal Line Stand #47 David Garza and the Wildcats Hold on the one yard line. By the Way, It was David Garza pouncing on the fumble that Jeremy scored to put the Wildcat ahead, and Cody Wilson drilled the extra point, and Score was 7-0.
So after the Wildcats were not fazed by the sharp Antlers, The Wildcats force Tivy to kick a 7-yard Field Goal and the score would be 10-7 at the Half.	Halftime, The Mighty Wildcat Band entertain the Crowd on the Alamodome.
Chance Campbell and David Garza burying the "Tivy Fight never Dies" Rippy into the Turf for a 2 yard loss! What a defense!	Junior Matt Merrell expressing tremendous emotion, to encourage the other GP Fighting Wildcats. #73 is Jason Tyson, #74 is Jason Pyles.
Tivy #87 Ty is getting the angle and did make the tackle.	#21 Ruben Corez running and following his blocker.
The Wildcats drive down to inside the 10 yard line..	#11 Juan Carlos Rodriguez gets the ball down to the 5 yard line and calls time!
The Coaches and the Wildcats discuss the Plan!	The Wildcats were stopped on the 2 yard line. Tivy took over and in 1:18 seconds left --tried for the win, They failed and The Wildcats Won! 21-17! Great comeback win.
Coach George Harris gives the final post de-brief. Had to be all positive on the great victory.	Juan Carlos Rodriguez #11 has continued to improved. Great performance: J.C.
#1 Jonathon Nance was posing and looked like a good shot, here he is.	Coach Wenzel super good basketball coach. Formerly from Calallen. Now GP will probably have a good basketball Team, too.

Booster Club Lady, Passing the Confetti Bags. She saw my Calallen Cap, and still gave us a bag. Nice Person.	Before the game, Wildcats doing some limbering up.	The Cheerleaders were motivating the Crowd. Wow, She is up-high!
The Wildcats-David Garza recovers the fumble-The Wildcats are indicating they have recovered, next play galloping Jeremy made it look so easy as he scored from the fumble area--45 yards.	Cody Wilson drills it home. 7-0 Wildcats.	The Wildcat Defense was mean, There's QB #12 Rippy getting buried again.
Here comes #21 on the return, Ruben Cortez 4 touchdowns last week, Tivy was keying on him, but the Cats have Depth, Davis, Ortiz and Winfrey filled in nicely. GP has some good horses.	The Drums, and trumpets and tubas play, and the twirler fires her baton into the Air. She caught it when the baton came back to earth.	The second half starts, and Will Bernhard tries to extend the lead, but the Wildcat Pressure cause him to hurry and the Pigskin went wide-right. Nice try, though. 10-7 Tivy.
There goes #2 Connell Davis on a left slant, he gets the First Down! The Fans cheered each time he ran. He had 103 yds on 13 Carries. He outrushed the Antlers who finished with a total of 86 rushing yards.	The person in orange is now letting the person in White signal Touchdown! #2 Connell Davis sprints 46-yards for the go-ahead score, after the PAT. It was 14-10. Wildcats. The excitement of the crowd, once again, hits my shooting arm. It would have been a good photo.	Here is #5 Cody Wilson kicking, and #7 Gabriel Peralez holding. They work good together; 14-10.
The Wildcats let the Antler have the ball only 5 minutes in the entire 2nd half. Here is Davis following his blocker and getting more yards.	While the GPHS Band played a "Boogie" Tune, #11 was doing the boogie. GP Fans were rocking at this point in the game.	#2 Connell Davis getting his 103 yds. The other player getting to the century mark, Jeremy Winfrey 109yards in 13 carries. Very unsual to have two 100 yard Runners against the Kerrville-Tivy Antlers.
4th and two, looks like Ruben, there he goes gets the First Down.	So here is Red and Blue running the GP Flag, and the Fans jump up and down loving the drive.	There he goes, Jeremy Winfrey #25 yards for the winning touchdown, and the same crowd are still jumping up and down and now more so. Good blocking by the linemen.
Ho-hum; these two don't miss, Cody &: Gabriel, 3 for 3, and the score is 21-17.	Remember, the photo above, the Coach and Wildcats during the time out. This is the result in two plays they went down to the 2 where the Antler took over on downs.
The traditional handshake, there goes J.C.	The Official Region IV-4A Champions! Congratulations.	#3 Matt Merrill played with enthusiasm and motivated his team members.
